Gospel
for Asia - missions
to the 10/40 window
The core of the unreached people of our world live in a rectangular shaped
window! Often called the 'resistant belt', the window extends from West Africa
to East Asia, from ten degrees north to forty degrees north of the equator. This
specific region has increasingly become known as the 10/40 window.
Facts and figures
- The 10/40 window has 2.4 billion people who still have not heard the
name of Jesus.
- 97% of people in the least evangelized countries live in the 10/40
window, only 8% of all missionaries work among them.
- Despite Christ's command to evangelize, 76% of all humans from AD30
to the present day have never even heard of His name.
- 124 million new souls begin life on earth each year, but Christianity's
4,000 foreign mission agencies baptize only 4 million new persons each
year.
- 91% of all Christian outreach/evangelism does not target non-Christians.
Gospel for Asia (GFA) are planting over 15 churches and fellowships each day
in 10 nations of the Indian subcontinent. GFA have 154 bible colleges and over
100 home bible colleges to
train and equip native missionaries to preach the gospel to those who
have not heard.

Matthew 28:18 And
Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in
heaven and on earth. 19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am
with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. |
